Uncle Lumpy’s Vanilla Porter

We are SO excited and proud to announce our partnership with British Beer Company and the launch of Uncle Lumpy’s Vanilla Porter!

Fans of the British Beer Company have been asking the BBC to brew their own beer for years and we’ve been hard at work with them for months to create Uncle Lumpy’s Vanilla Porter. This dark full-bodied porter with black patent and chocolate malts shining through, features a light vanilla aroma and finish, netting out with a 5.7% ABV.

Grand Tapping February 5th
Enjoy Uncle Lumpy’s with a variety of BBC’s menu items or on it’s own, when it goes on tap Thursday, February 5th at 7pm at ALL British Beer Company pubs!

Uncle Lumpy’s Pint Nights
Woodstock will be out at the BBC pubs to celebrate all February long – visit our events page to see when your local pub is hosting their pint night.

Did someone say Ski & Stays?|
With the generosity of our friends at Loon Mountain Ski Resort we’ll be raffling off 2-night mid-week stays for two at Woodstock Inn Brewery with 4 vouchers to Loon Mountain. And, we’re giving you two ways to enter to win:
(1) Stop by one of the pint nights and get a raffle ticket when you sample an Uncle Lumpy’s Vanilla Porter
(2) Take a photo enjoying Uncle Lumpy’s and share/post to Instagram using the hashtag #unclelumpysBBC between February 5th and February 21st

Who is Uncle Lumpy?
Phil McCrillis (Uncle Lumpy) has been a local Maine craftsman for over 30 years & lifelong friend of BBC owner Gary Simon. Phil is the proverbial “jack of all trades master of none.”  A former gemstone miner, cutter & jeweler for over 30 years, Phil turned his hobby of woodworking into his new career of sculpture in quality hard wood. Gary commissioned Phil to create the Big Ben hand carved tap handles and the much loved rendition of Uncle Lumpy as the BBC’s flagship beer mascot.

Hope to see some Woodstock fans out at the BBC pubs in February and let us know what you think of the beer!

Cheers
